Message from HBREA’s
This administration’s theme is twofold, “Increasing Homeownership Through Advocacy, Activism and Action” while “Building Wealth and Leaving a Legacy”. Both will serve to answer our National President’s call for 2 million new African American homeowners over the next 5 years.
The Houston Black Real Estate Association (HBREA) founded in 1949, is the local chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB). NAREB, founded in 1947, is the oldest and largest minority trade association in America. HBREA was founded on the principle that all citizens have the right to equal housing opportunities regardless of race, creed or color.
Houston Black Real Estate Association, Inc., is a trade association whose mission is to enhance the economic improvement of its members and the African American community it serves.
